Payments & Refunds Policy
This local site is operated by Land Clearing Edmond.
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
This Payments & Refunds Policy applies to quotes, deposits, invoices, scheduling, payments, cancellations, and refund requests for services offered through this website.
1. At a Glance
Payment Due: Upon receipt unless otherwise stated in writing
Deposits: A deposit may be required for certain projects, especially larger jobs, scheduled work, or projects requiring equipment or material commitments
Refunds: Refund requests are reviewed based on project status, materials, and work performed
Special-Order Items: Generally non-cancelable and non-refundable once ordered
Rescheduling: Usually allowed, but charges may apply for late changes or wasted trips
Disputes: Contact us first so we can review and attempt to resolve the issue
Late Charges: May apply on unpaid balances as permitted by law
2. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are based on information available at the time of quoting. Final pricing may change if site conditions, property access, terrain, vegetation density, equipment needs, customer requests, hidden conditions, safety concerns, or regulatory requirements differ from what was originally known.
If pricing needs to change, we will seek approval before proceeding with additional work, unless immediate action is required for safety or to protect property.
Quotes are estimates unless clearly stated in writing as a fixed-price agreement.
3. Payment Terms
Invoices are due upon receipt unless stated otherwise in writing.
We may accept payment by credit card, ACH, check, cash, or other approved methods.
If a payment is declined, reversed, or returned, we may pause scheduling or work until payment is resolved.
4. Deposits
A deposit may be required before scheduling, reserving labor, or beginning work.
Unless stated otherwise:
- deposits are applied to the final balance;
- deposits may become non-refundable once labor, scheduling, or resources are committed;
- any refundable portion will be determined after deducting costs such as time reserved, materials, and work already performed
Deposits are generally not refundable once project resources have been committed.
5. Refunds
Because land clearing projects often involve scheduling, equipment use, labor, and site visits, refunds are not automatically available.
Unless required by law or approved in writing:
- completed work is non-refundable;
- deposits are generally non-refundable once work or scheduling begins;
- trip, mobilization, consultation, or site visit fees are non-refundable once incurred;
- custom or project-specific work is non-refundable once started
If a refund is approved, it may be reduced by costs related to labor, equipment time, materials, scheduling, or other project expenses.
6. Special or Project-Specific Work
Certain work may be considered project-specific or non-reversible once started. These services are generally non-refundable once performed.
7. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
Scheduling dates are estimates and may change due to weather, access, safety conditions, equipment availability, prior job delays, or other factors outside our control.
Customers are responsible for providing safe and accessible work conditions, including:
- clear access to the work area;
- removal of obstacles or obstructions;
- safe property conditions;
- any required approvals or permissions
If a cancellation or reschedule occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice, a reasonable fee may apply.
If we arrive and cannot perform work due to access or site conditions outside our control, a trip or mobilization fee may apply.
8. Disputes and Billing Concerns
If you have a billing or service concern, please contact us first and provide:
- property address
- invoice reference (if available)
- description of the concern
We will review the issue and attempt to resolve it in a reasonable timeframe.
9. Late Charges and Collection
Unpaid balances may accrue a late charge of up to 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
To the extent permitted, customers may also be responsible for reasonable collection costs or fees associated with unpaid balances.
We may pause or stop work on projects with outstanding balances.
10. Risk of Loss
For completed work, responsibility for the property condition passes after completion.
Site conditions may change due to weather, erosion, or external factors outside our control.
11. No Waiver of Rights
This policy is enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law. If any portion is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
